Crystal Planning Commissioner Jeff Kolb Announces Run for City Council

CRYSTAL, February 4, 2014 – Crystal Planning Commissioner Jeff Kolb announced today that he is running for the Crystal City Council, Ward 2 seat.  The election will be held November 4, 2014. There will be a primary election on August 12 if more than two candidates file for the election.

“I am running for City Council because Crystal is a great place to live, but I also recognize there are things we could do better,” Kolb said.

Kolb is a small business owner, and currently serves as the Planning Commissioner for Ward 2, where he has been a leading voice for making Crystal more business friendly by eliminating unnecessary red tape at city hall.  His wife Erin is Vice Chair of Crystal’s Parks and Recreation commission.  Jeff and Erin live in Crystal’s Brownwood neighborhood at Douglas Drive and 38th Avenue North with their son James.

“I want to make sure that we keep Crystal a great place to live, work and shop, and if I am elected, I look forward to continuing to serve our community,” Kolb concluded.
